actually aku perasan masalah paling besar masa aku study is mengantuk..so, smlm aku da search macam mana nak elakkan mengantuk...

1. jangan minum susu (esp. warm milk)...milk contains tryptophan, a precursor to serotonin which is a neurotransmitter that stimulates the sleep centre..

2. makan snack - snack actually can fight off mental fatigue (+ glucose)...recommended healthy snacks are:
   -yogurt
   -fruits
   -chopped raw veggies (mmg aku takkan mkn la yg ni)

3. take a cold shower (not recommended in winter..:D) - the coldness will jolt your system....

4. buat something yang relaxing tetapi still menggunakan otak - example : crosswords, sudoku, maen PES

5. update blog - :D :D

this past few days were a really busy day for me...all because of this eid-ul adha celebration...actually, this is my first time coming to these events...I didn't come to the last two celebrations due to certain unavoidable circumstances...well, enough of my ramblings..enjoy the pix

for this event we had around 7 photographers working together..we ended up with 2000+ pictures (only from day 1). so, I can't upload all of them...

even my leg was splattered with blood..that was from a camel if I'm not mistaken

yeap... yesterday, there was this annual race to support breast cancer..and I joined!! well, actually I registered for the race but wasn't able to arrive on time..sampai2 je da abes race da...so takpelah, berlakon berlari sudeyh..:)

there were also breast cancer survivors..they were dressed in pink...

congrats on surviving.. clap clap clap

and finally there was this concert...and everyone started dancing....even though the sound was too loud and too high pitch it hurt my ears.. call me old, but I really didn't enjoy the concert..heh..

really nice experience....but not sure gonna enter it again next year..heh..

landed in sabah yesterday... i'm gonna spend around 5 days here...:)

they sell sumpits here..their ammunition too...wonder blh bawak naek kapal terbang tak..hmm

2. the picture may not be taken on the day itself but it must be taken by yourself, not googled

a Couple days ago, I went to Cairo...it wasn't planned, very spontaneous..so we didn't know what to do..in the end, we watched 'daybreaker'..kinda cool vampire movie...not a must-go-to-cairo-now-to-watch-the-movie type, more of a let's-download-the-movie-and-watch-it-on-a-Friday-night type of movie...know what I mean?...:)

on an unrelated note, while I was wandering around the mall in cairo, there were people giving out CDs and free clorets. the CD was a compilation of club songs, so I wasn't very intrigued but I wanted a clorets so I went up to them.

when I read the list of songs at the back of the CD I found there was a Malay-sounding name.. Amirah Ali and the song was katakanlah. I mean, like, wow! it was a compilation with all this arabic names & some Caucasian dudes tapi lepas tuh, track number 6--- Amirah Ali..

Personally, I've never heard of Amirah Ali before. but yesterday I found her youtube account.. she writes some good songs though I don't like all of them...:)

I'm sorry for the recent hiatus...I had some problems with my internet connection...sekarang pun masih kambing sedikit connection nih..blame egypt, don't blame me..haha

so, due to my connection being sucky-ish ...I can't upload any pix...*sigh*

so, anyways...in this post, I'm going to tell you guys about my newest obsession....READING.... no, really...no joke...and I mean obsession, not just a hobby

this started when my housemate found stanza, an application that allows me to read books on my ipod touch...I take about 3 days to finish a book...I have read twice the number of books this MONTH than I did the whole of last YEAR...told ya I'm obsessed ..:p

so far, 2 series dah abis baca...
1) the demonata by Darren Shan (very intriguing, very addictive, very gory)
2)Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (way better than the movie...and the plot differs from the movie)

I'm currently working on the 39 clues series, a story about something like a treasure hunt but in a grander scale. quite addictive, especially if you're familiar with landmarks from all over the world...:)

yeap..that's all for this post....hopefully, my internet'll get better soon...I miss youtube..haha

yeap...I finally inserted a chat box in my blog..A couple of people asked me to put up a chat box but I'm too lazy..haha...well, today I feel a bit rajin...so, you can find it in the sidebar on the right..:)

I am now addicted to glee..haha...it took me awhile to download them but I have downloaded 13 episodes...(13's the latest right?)..I'm now averaging 3 episodes a day...that's a lot considering I have an assignment due tomorrow (PBL stuff is also an assignment..:D)

true I did go cairo twice and also conquered the desert...but those were the only productive days.. 5 days out of 3 weeks?...brilliant

I think the question should be DO I like it longer? I mean, lately while I was blog-hopping I came across numerous blog posts saying that they long things are better. I beg to differ!!

2. at least dua kali seminggu kluar utk jalan2 . jangan terpuruk dalam bilik sahaja...and kluar utk makan tak kira....

3. kalau da tepu sangat kepala otak...sila kacau roommate anda...nescaya, akan hilang stress anda

ratings?...i give it two thumbs up!! (i'd give it three but I don't have enough thumbs) ...visual effects 12 out of 10~ there are some scenes that are a lil' bit cliche but personally I don't mind..the movie didn't emphasize on these scenes..

Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku. Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip.. Pagi itu saya bersarapan dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu.

Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya bersetuju untuk mengikutnya.. Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah. Lagi 8 kilometer nak sampai pasar saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang.

Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit “Adoi!”. Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar lori itu pula. Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya. Emak saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua.

Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu sangat marah... Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori. Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia..lori itu bertukar menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara. Emak saya tidak puas hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helikopter di Genting
Highlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu...

Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula lalu terhempas ke jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah. Pemandu lori sangat takut melihat kejadian itu.. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya. Dia menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam.. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan kipas helikopter. Pemandu lori itu menjerit “Adoi..!” dan jatuh ke bumi. Emak saya menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands. Bila dia balik ke tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris.

Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih. Lalu pemandu lori itu mati. Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi. Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit menggunakan pembesar suara. Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.

Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati. Saya dan emak saya terus berlari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai di rumah kami pun mati. Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat sebelum saya mati..

ketika raya tahun ini, telah ku sedari yang duit raya adalah satu KONSPIRASI yang dicipta oleh ibu bapa untuk membuat anak2 kecil ingin pergi rumah orang untuk beraya....

haha...tapi still I enjoyed this raya...better compared to last years....last year, I celebrated raya in egpyt...woke up at 6...went to rumah selangor for the raya prayers and some jamuan...and then we got back to our rooms before noon to spend the rest of the day playing counter-strike and call of duty....didn't feel like raya at all...

and the best thing about raya is that I have an excuse to whip out my camera and take some pix...:)

last sunday went to OU to watch lenka live in person...supossed to meet safwan & hanif there tapi diorang sesat...*sigh*...oh well, their loss...

definitely had a great time...I got called up by the emcees to answer a question and win a CD...It was an easy question..."what was Lenka's full name"...ok sbnarnya sblm ni tatau...tp the day before tgh bsan baca wikipedia ternampak full name dier..:)

agak teruja la bler dapat CD tuh...kalau bukan CD lenka at least Amy mastura ke...tapi bler buka wrappings dier......VCD KARAOKE....*hampa*..dah la lagu dier gler kambing...aspalela, joget lambak and etc. etc. *sigh*

but I was kinda grateful I was called up coz I was able to stand at the front row...Great view

fuuhh...finally!!...the final hurdle to freedom from studying ( at least for the next couple of months) has passed...kalau x payah repeat paper r...tolong r x payah repeat..x sanggup nk study pada bulan june & july yg panas beraapi~...jom buat solat hajat supaya aku..eh silap...suma org x payah repeat...:)

after ovecoming 200 mcq questions yg mencabar minda, rohani, jiwa, batin dan rohani, essay questions yg x dibantu oleh spot questions yg banyak x kena, jar muscle anatomy yg berbau pelik, tulang2 yg harus dioriented terlebih dahulu dan soalan histology yg x boleh dibezakan antara cell ovary dan cell lungs..suma pink je..

now, let's see what are the prospect that i can look forward to during the holidays...

0900 : masih tidur

1000 : tidur lagi

1100 : belum bangun

1200 : bangun gak akhirnya

1300 : slps mandi maen pes

pada pagi yang indah ini, aku dikejutkan oleh kicauan burung hammamah (macam brung merpati r) di luar tingkap. sinaran matahari yang suam mengejutku dari tidurku yang lena. mataku terlekat pada papan putih di ruang tamu yg dipenuhi dengan nota exam. hati ku terjatuh pabila melihat tulisan di atas "HA??..TinGGAL 5 hari je lagi final exam??!!"

haha..aku tau annoying sikit mula post dgn ayat camni...saja nk practise penulisan.da lama gler x bwat karangan..haha...

nways, memang lately everyone is in exam mood. people start to skip meals, 24 hours menghadap buku & group studies. pikir balik tensen gak sbb lama sangat study break nih. aku pun da agak tepu dgn info sampai sejak study break da 3 kali aku mimpi pasal medicine...skali pasal fetal circulation & 2 pasal muscle (haha...ingat sampai skrg)...mayb ni clue utk apa akan kluar essay kot...cpt baca blik!!

so slps bertungkus-lumus stadi kiter kene lpas kan tensen...ni la aktiviti mingguan kami...teruja sangat sampai bawak kamera skali...

1. the gerigi lining of the picture...it seems the mesir-ian can't stand looking at a plain square picture...they HAD to cut some designs into it....

2. notice in this picture...my face is clean..no jerawats or anything...lembut sperti kulit bayi... in reaiti, tak se-clean ni...these mesir-ians photoshopped my gambar paspot...haha... they even erased the designs on my sweater...

what i tell you?...good service right?...haha....
