I learnt theres a new Malaysian artist because an egyptian gave me a CD

a Couple days ago, I went to Cairo...it wasn't planned, very spontaneous..so we didn't know what to do..in the end, we watched 'daybreaker'..kinda cool vampire movie...not a must-go-to-cairo-now-to-watch-the-movie type, more of a let's-download-the-movie-and-watch-it-on-a-Friday-night type of movie...know what I mean?...:)

on an unrelated note, while I was wandering around the mall in cairo, there were people giving out CDs and free clorets. the CD was a compilation of club songs, so I wasn't very intrigued but I wanted a clorets so I went up to them.

when I read the list of songs at the back of the CD I found there was a Malay-sounding name.. Amirah Ali and the song was katakanlah. I mean, like, wow! it was a compilation with all this arabic names & some Caucasian dudes tapi lepas tuh, track number 6--- Amirah Ali..

Personally, I've never heard of Amirah Ali before. but yesterday I found her youtube account.. she writes some good songs though I don't like all of them...:)

I'm sorry for the recent hiatus...I had some problems with my internet connection...sekarang pun masih kambing sedikit connection nih..blame egypt, don't blame me..haha

so, due to my connection being sucky-ish ...I can't upload any pix...*sigh*

so, anyways...in this post, I'm going to tell you guys about my newest obsession....READING.... no, really...no joke...and I mean obsession, not just a hobby

this started when my housemate found stanza, an application that allows me to read books on my ipod touch...I take about 3 days to finish a book...I have read twice the number of books this MONTH than I did the whole of last YEAR...told ya I'm obsessed ..:p

so far, 2 series dah abis baca...
1) the demonata by Darren Shan (very intriguing, very addictive, very gory)
2)Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan (way better than the movie...and the plot differs from the movie)

I'm currently working on the 39 clues series, a story about something like a treasure hunt but in a grander scale. quite addictive, especially if you're familiar with landmarks from all over the world...:)

yeap..that's all for this post....hopefully, my internet'll get better soon...I miss youtube..haha

chat box finally here!!

yeap...I finally inserted a chat box in my blog..A couple of people asked me to put up a chat box but I'm too lazy..haha...well, today I feel a bit rajin...so, you can find it in the sidebar on the right..:)

I am now addicted to glee..haha...it took me awhile to download them but I have downloaded 13 episodes...(13's the latest right?)..I'm now averaging 3 episodes a day...that's a lot considering I have an assignment due tomorrow (PBL stuff is also an assignment..:D)

this is one my favourites so far...yeap...

p/s: I'll be entering a talent show...auditions this week...but I don't know what song to perform yet...any ideas what song I can perform?.(instruments = 1 guitar, 1 keyboard, 1 drums)

p/p/s: I noticed that I've been posting a lot of youtube vids lately...I'm getting addicted to the youtube...is that a bad thing?..haha

I'm bored of the holidays but I don't want the classes to start

aweird eh?...

but anyways, classes HAS started.....almost a week now...yeap...*sigh*..

well, I had the most UNproductive holiday ever...haha...I'm serious..I felt like a bum..waking up every morning and immediately get hooked on my laptop....I mean, the only times I left my desk was to satisfy my basic needs (eating, etc, etc)

true I did go cairo twice and also conquered the desert...but those were the only productive days.. 5 days out of 3 weeks?...brilliant
